19 August 2014: Rorotika partner company Tranwall Limited today announced that Old Mutual has launched an innovative prepaid and rewards programme in Namibia, secured by Tranwall Transaction Control.
Tranwall, in partnership with Payment Express (PEX) Mauritius, has successfully completed the implementation of Tranwall Transaction Control for the OMCARD Namibia project.
Tranwall Transaction Control enables the OMCARD to empower their cardholders with the ability to secure their cards by using mobile telephony..

22 January 2014: MTN SA, a JSE-listed operator in South Africa, has purchased Rorotika’s NetCM, having successfully used the tool on a Software as a Service basis for the last two years.
MTN SA now has “right-to-use” licences for NetCM’s NetRan (for 2G, 3G and LTE) and for NetCore (PS Core and CS Core), as well as NetDiscover which allows tracking of active network assets. MTN SA has also signed for an additional two years of consulting services with Rorotika Technologies, to manage their core and BSS nodes for multi-vendor equipment.
5 June 2013: To address the need for end-to-end asset management in the growing telecommunications market across Africa, Rorotika Technologies is collaborating with IBM to integrate their world-class Configuration Management platform, NetCM, into IBM’s Tivoli platform. More specifically:
- Rorotika’s NetDiscover component will be used by IBM to discover the network topology, including serial number as well as part number detail, right down to the board level.
- This information will then be used by IBM’s asset management platform, Maximo, to report on asset movement and to provide detailed information to the operator highlighting discrepancies between the live environment and Maximo regarding the status of active assets.
- The NetRan and NetCore components will provide information to the IBM Netcool platform regarding key network faults caused by incorrect network configuration. This will then be displayed in the IBM MoM (Manager of Manager) UI platform to inform users of any such issues which affect network quality.
- In addition, information on configuration faults derived from the NetRan and NetCore components will be integrated into the IBM trouble ticketing platform, automatically allowing for work flow integration.

17 May 2012: Rorotika’s Netcm goes mobile: Direct connectivity to network nodes allows users to run MML commands from the mobile device. With IPhone, Andriod and IPad native compliance, NetCM now offers configuration of user-specific dashboards, high-level reporting on alarms and configuration faults, as well as on performance management and revenue data.
7 May 2012: Rorotika Technologies hosted the Johannesburg Mobile Monday event, titled “Changing the World through Innovation” on 7 May 2012.
